I had a fantastic stay at Palace in Beijing. the hotel was incredibly clean and had a great shower. the bed was soft and comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep. Some of the staff were able to speak English, which made communication much easier. When I asked to change my room because it was freezing, they quickly accommodated my request. the hotel's location was the best part - situated in a lovely older part of town that looked beautiful at night. There were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and it was only a 15-minute walk to the Forbidden City. Cons: Nothing for me 😊.

Comfortable bed, clean room, excellent air conditioning. Helpful tour company within. 5 min walk to station. Seconds away from great food. Excellent location for exploring. Very safe with police patrols. Free water in room. Recently redecorated, feels new. Close to TianAnMen Square. Expensive surroundings. Enjoy street view and live music.

The room was cozy and comfortable, making us feel right at home. The free WiFi was a lifesaver, allowing us to stay connected with our loved ones. Having a kettle in the room was a nice touch, as we could enjoy a cup of tea whenever we wanted. The flat-screen TV was great for winding down and catching up on our favorite shows.
Personally, we didn't really need the minibar in the room.

As women traveling alone, we loved the convenient location of this hotel. It was just behind all the main sightseeing attractions such as the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. The nearby Qianmen Metro stop made it easy for us to explore the rest of Beijing. The hotel's close proximity to a supermarket, food market, and restaurants made it convenient for us to find everything we needed. We felt safe and the hotel was clean and comfortable, providing a great base for our adventures in Beijing.
We felt super comfortable during our stay and had no reason to complain.

For my recent stay at the Beijing Palace Hotel, I couldn't have asked for a better location. Situated right next to a pedestrianized street filled with shops and restaurants, it was perfect for exploring. The room was immaculately cleaned every day, and they provided refreshing water bottles and fresh towels. The shower was excellent, and the bed was soft and incredibly comfortable. I also appreciated that some of the staff spoke English, making communication easier. When I asked to change my room due to the cold temperature, they promptly accommodated my request. Despite this minor issue, I felt secure with policemen patrolling in front of the hotel. In addition, the proximity to the lively food street, Qianmen shopping street, and the subway station added to the overall convenience. Another highlight was being able to enjoy the street view while sitting outside and listening to a live band from a nearby restaurant.
I highly recommend this hotel.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely incredible! I felt very safe with policemen patrolling in front of the hotel, which was mind-blowing. The location was super convenient, as it was very near to the food street, Qianmen shopping street, and the subway station, making it easy to explore the city. The street view from the hotel was jaw-dropping, and I loved sitting outside and listening to the live band playing at the nearby restaurant. The room was set up decently and had all the necessary toiletries provided. The daily room cleaning was a great touch, and I enjoyed watching a good selection of Chinese dramas and movies on the flat-screen TV. The staff was extremely kind and allowed me to check-in early at 12pm. Although the metro station was a bit of a walk away, the location of the hotel on the main street was still convenient with a variety of eateries nearby. Lastly, the best part was the lovely older part of the city just off the hotel, with shops and restaurants, and a stunning night view. And guess what? The Forbidden City was only a 15-minute walk away! my experience at this hotel was absolutely fantastic, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Title: Fantastic Stay for Families
For dads, it would be great to have a dedicated children's play area or entertainment room within the hotel. My children wanted a space where they could have fun and interact with other kids while we relaxed.

During my recent New Year stay, I found the hotel location to be ideal. It was situated close to several restaurants and shopping centers. the spacious and well-equipped rooms were a delight to stay in. The air conditioning system worked wonders, making the stay much comfortable.
I did not appreciate the lack of English-speaking staff, which made it challenging to communicate effectively. I encountered a few issues with the room, such as a leaky shower that flooded the floor, and no window in my room.

Convenient Location: The hotel is situated in the bustling Dongcheng district, allowing easy access to Mandarin or English shows and a great night's sleep.
Limited Car Access: Some backpackers may appreciate the historical avenue's lack of car access, but it may not be ideal for business travelers.

Great location near shopping area and restaurants. the rooms were spacious and clean with a nice bathtub. Charging points had USB options. the wifi worked really well.
The reception staff was not very friendly or helpful. No maps or guidance on the local area and no smiles.
